This old-established Protestant Scottish monthly still holds on its way. In the days of Drs. Cunningham and Begg it was quite a power on the Protestant side. In recent years, however, it fell off a good deal, but we are pleased to observe that recent issues seem to show more liveliness and vitality. Surely there is as much ability yet in Scotland ranged on the Protestant side as to restore her one outstanding Protestant monthly to the high position it once had.
