The Dingwall Treasurer is pleased to report on behalf of the congregation that, after paying all trades (except for balances totalling £416 odd retained for the maintenance period, to meet which the congregation have funds), there has been repaid during 1959 of £4,000 interest free loans £2,700 leaving £1,300 outstanding. There is also £1,276 actual due to be repaid to the General Church Funds in respect of cash advances. The true debt therefore is loans of £2,576 of which, even as matters stand at present, £400 (in addition to the £416 above) without outside help could be repaid by the congregation this year 1960, leaving a little over £2,000 to find, a very modest sum considering the total cost of an admirable building ideally situated in neat and tidy surroundings, and the period of time involved. Further donations would accordingly be welcome and meantime the congregation express their sincere thanks for the very considerable help afforded to this date, the Treasurer all along being able to settle demands for payments to account to trades forthwith. It is known that our Church people appreciate a complete picture of their endeavours and it is for this reason that the Treasurer gives this detailed report.—D. Matheson.
