Rev. Donald Campbell, Edinburgh, accompanied by Mrs Campbell and their son, Donald, left this country on Monday 9th July for Vancouver, Canada, where they were to spend 10 days. On Thursday 19th July they were to leave for Sydney, Australia. There they were to spend one night before continuing their journey to Auckland, New Zealand. Mr Campbell expects to remain in New Zealand for two months. On Thursday 20th September they expect to cross to Australia and visit Sydney and Grafton before returning to this country on 5th October (D.V.).
We pray that the Lord may put his protecting care over them on their journeyings and that Mr Campbell’s labours may be blessed of the Lord in the various places which he visits. We are sure that the visit of the Convener of the Dominions and Overseas Committee to the places in which he has shown such a warm interest will be an encouragement to the people over there, as it will be gratifying to Mr Campbell himself to meet many with whom he corresponded over the years. We trust that in due time they may be brought home safely again to this land.
