Miss Katie MacAulay, who had been on furlough since early in the year, and Miss Margaret MacKenzie, who had been on a short leave to this country, returned to the Mission in September. It is encouraging to know that the teachers and other staff on the Mission have a mind to continue their work there in these difficult times. It is our prayer that they may be upheld by the Lord and preserved from the many dangers that surround them. We trust that the Lord may be pleased to bring peace to that strife-torn land so that the task of spreading of the Gospel may be carried on even on a wider scale than ever before.
