This booklet consists of a reprint of a short treatise by Rev. Thos Boston on the Fourth Commandment and of a Lecture on the Fourth Commandment by Dr. John Kennedy. The issue of this pamphlet is most timely in view of the many inroads made on the sanctity of the Sabbath in these days. Men, today, make a mock of Sabbath keeping as though the law of the Sabbath was the invention of men and could be discarded at will. But if they do not repent of their sin, they will discover that the God of the Sabbath will never admit them into the rest of the eternal Sabbath that awaits the people of God in glory but will appoint them their portion in that place of which He says in His Word, “There is no rest, saith my God, unto the wicked.”
