“The Finance Committee would recommend to any persons who have drawn up a Will prior to June, 1989, naming the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland as a beneficiary, that they make an addition to such a Will, stating that it is the Church continuing to be called the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland which is to benefit under the Will. It is important that this addition should include the date on which it was inserted. Such a step would help to stop these Wills being contested by parties no longer in the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland.”
