Binding of Magazines
We have now managed to get a bookbinder who is willing to bind our magazines. The cost per volume is dearer as they are professional binders, but the finished product is very nice. The cost per volume is £10.50 with a title piece on the spine or £8.50 without a title piece. It would be beneficial if the staples were removed before the magazines are sent in as this will incur further costs. Anyone interested should send complete volumes, with name and address attached, to: The Free Presbyterian Bookroom, 133 Woodlands Road, Glasgow G3 6LE.
N.B. It is intended to wait until we have a few volumes before they are sent to the binders so there may be a few months’ delay in returning them.
M. Morrison, Bookroom Manager.
Day of Humiliation and Prayer
It was agreed at the Synod “that Wednesday, 6th December be appointed as a day of humiliation and prayer throughout the Church, for the pouring forth of the Holy Spirit, the Lord willing.”
Editor pro tempore
As the Editor, the Rev Neil Ross, has agreed, at the request of the Foreign Missions Committee, to stay on in Kenya until Mr and Mrs Ian MacLean and family arrive there (D.V.) in mid-January, the next two issues of this Magazine will be prepared for the press by the Rev K D MacLeod, Free Presbyterian Manse, Ferry Road, Leverburgh, Isle of Harris.
Through lack of space other articles have been held over and will appear in the next issue.
