PENDING the publication of the Report of the last meeting of Synod, we may mention that the new Moderator of Synod is Rev. Dr. James R. Tallach. At the time of writing he is visiting our Mission in Kenya for a month to give urgently needed help there.
The Synod released Rev. John Goldby from his pastoral charge of Farr, Tomatin and Stratherrick so that he may be appointed as a missionary on our Mission in Kenya.
Mr A. M. MacPherson, elder in the Perth, Dundee and Stirling Congregation, has been appointed as a full-time home missionary to work in the Southern Presbytery.
