Leverburgh Care Home

The Leverburgh Care Home is pleasantly situated on Ferry Road, Leverburgh, Isle of Harris, and has panoramic views of hills and lochs. It is next door to the Free Presbyterian Church and within easy reach of local shops, post office, public transport and the ferry terminal to the Uists.

There is a large conservatory/dining area along with two other sitting rooms, 16 single en-suite bedrooms with staff call system. There is an assisted bathroom and shower room and a lift to the first floor bedrooms.

The Home will accommodate residents no longer able to cope on their own and who need the security of caring staff in a safe family type environment. With the co-operation of the GP community services and relatives every effort will be made to provide a caring and Christian atmosphere.

Family worship is held in the Home, morning and evening, which residents and staff attend.

To comply with fire regulations and for the safety of our residents, staff and relatives we have adopted a no smoking policy within the Home.
