Parking:
- Free on-street parking is available on a number of streets around the church for the evening / Sabbath services
- While there are parking restrictions on Gilmore Place itself on Saturday during the day, parking is available on adjoining streets.
- For Thursday and Friday afternoon services a handful of spaces are available, usually on a first come first served basis, in the small car park behind the church. On-street parking is available in pay and display bays on streets close to the church (cost in 2026 is £4.60 per hour). Available spaces can at times take time to locate so it is recommended to allow time to find a space.
- If you have any difficulties please speak to one of the deacons or elders at the door for help and advice.

The Edinburgh congregation was formed in 1893 or soon afterwards. The first minister was Rev. Alexander Stewart, 1903-1905. Subsequent ministers have been Rev. Neil Macintyre, 1923-1950; Rev. Donald Campbell, 1951-1983; Rev. Angus Morrison, 1986-1989; Rev. DB Macleod, 1991-1995; Rev. HM Cartwright, 1998-2011; and Rev. David Campbell, 2013-date. The first church was in East Fountainbridge. The present church in Gilmore Place was purchased in July 1921.
