We regret there were two errors in the note of donations to Lochcarron Church Building Fund which appeared in our October number—A. Macdonald, Home Farm, Portree, £1, should have been £2; and Friend, Broadford, £1, should have been 10/.
Services in London.—Rev. A. Macrae, Portree, held services in London on Sabbath the 10th November, as stated in last issue. The attendance at the Gaelic Service in the Scottish National Church, Covent Garden, was one of the largest that has been seen at these bi-monthly services. At the English service, which was arranged by Free Presbyterians, there was also an encouraging attendance. Mr. Macrae intimated that the Rev. J. S. Sinclair, Editor of the F. P. Magazine, would (D.V.) preach in London on Sabbath, the 15th December, at 7 p.m. London friends, however, will kindly note that an alteration has since been made in the arrangements for the 15th December. There will be a service at 11 a.m. as well as at 7 p.m., and both services will be held, not in the Y.M.C.A. Institution, Aldersgate Street, but in St. Andrew’s Parish Room, 45 Palace Street, Westminster, S.W. As previously mentioned, any further information about these or subsequent services may be had from Mr. William Grant, 22 Winifred Grove, Clapham Common, S.W.
