Meeting of Synod.
The Synod of the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland will (God willing) meet in the Free Presbyterian Church, North Church Place, Inverness, on Tuesday evening, the 22nd of May, at half-past six o’clock. The Rev. Malcolm Gillies, Halkirk, the retiring Moderator, is expected to preach and conduct divine service at the hour stated.
Acceptance of Call to Edinburgh.
At a meeting of the Western Presbytery, held at Kyle of Lochalsh, the call from the Edinburgh congregation to Rev. Neil Macintyre was dealt with. Mr Macintyre indicated his acceptance of the same.
