The publishers have done good service in re-publishing the Rev. John Urquhart’s noteworthy book on the above important subject. Mr. Urquhart, in his day, was an intelligent and able exponent of the Scripture doctrine of inspiration. He did not spare the Higher Critics. There is a liveliness in his literary style that saves it from all tendency to dullness. Even when dealing with archaeological matters he holds the attention of his readers. The book is handsomely got up and well printed and is worth the money at five shillings.
