The Liberator We Need, by Balent Miklos.
We have read Mr. Miklos’ tractate with keen interest. He shows a remarkable command of English and his subject is of absorbing interest. In his presentation of his theme, the author stresses the exceeding awfulness of sin, the truth that Christ is the true great Liberator we need to deliver us from its engulfing power. The theme is timely. Mr. Miklos has read widely and his references to the Confession, the Shorter Catechism, Dr. Owen, Dr. Cunningham, Prof. Smeaton, Dr. Hugh Martin, and the American theologians, Dr. Charles Hodge, Drs. R. L. Dabney, Thornwell and Warfield, and C. H. Spurgeon, shew the fields in which he gleaned. The booklet may be had from Mr. Miklos, c/o MacLeod, 29 Lauriston Gardens, Edinburgh; price 1/- post free.
