Edinburgh Congregation Appeal—Repairs to Church Building.

The Edinburgh congregation have been advised that repairs to cost upwards of £2,000 are urgently necessary to the church building. Since the congregation have only recently paid off a debt on the manse, this prospect lays a heavy financial burden upon them. The Edinburgh church is one which our people from many other congregations visit, and the Deacons’ Court would like to invite the assistance of the Church as a whole to help them to meet this commitment. Donations will be thankfully received by the Congregational Treasurer, Mr. Duncan MacLeod, 16 Bruntsfield Avenue, Edinburgh.

This appeal is heartily endorsed by the Southern Presbytery.

(Signed) DONALD CAMPBELL, Moderator.
MALCOLM MACSWEEN, Clerk, pro tem.
