What is it? It is a Book Club run by Jay Green of America, under whose direction several hundred American Christians have joined together in order to publish the best books of bygone days. Why a Book Club? The reason is strictly economical. The demand for God-exalting books is small, although, praise God, it is increasing. For this reason, if Christians did not join together, thus guaranteeing the sale of so many books before they were printed, it would not be economically possible to continue to print them. How does the Book Club operate? Christians in Great Britain
do NOT have to join any club. Instead they may purchase S.G.B.C. publications in the ordinary way from the British agent, Mr. T. E. Watson. As a result of Jay Green’s concern that these books should feed Christ’s lambs in Britain, the British prices of S.G.B.C. books are well below their American equivalents.
