In the Lord’s kind providence the debt on the Inverness Manse has now finally been cleared. The present Manse at Auldcastle Hill was purchased in 1947 at a sum, including interest charges, of little short of £6,000.
No direct appeal for help was made beyond the bounds of the congregation. Donations were received, however, from time to time from friends throughout the church and to these and to all who helped in removing this heavy debt we wish to express our heart-felt thanks.
“O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.”—Rev. A. F. Mackay, Inverness.

NOTE.—Owing to a mistake in the despatch department at the printers in Glasgow, some subscribers received 2 copies of the February Magazines while some others did not get any. This was discovered too late to have more magazines printed as the print was broken up for preparing the March magazines. We would be very grateful if any of these subscribers could kindly return extra magazines to the General Treasurer, so that others may be supplied.
