For a long time the Manse which is situated at Portnalong has been felt to be very inadequate and the congregation feels that steps should be taken to increase its size. Plans have been drawn up for this purpose and it is estimated that the addition of bedrooms, study
etc. will cost, at the very least, the sum of £2,000. A fund has been opened to collect money to meet this cost and it is hoped that an early start can be made to the work. (DV.)
As the Congregation is small in size, it has been decided to make an appeal to friends outside the congregation to help in the carrying out of this project. An earnest appeal is, therefore, made to all who are able and willing to help to contribute to the Fund and, from past evidences of the generosity of our people, we are sure our appeal will not be in vain.
Contributions will be acknowledged in the Free Presbyterian Magazine and should be sent to the minister or to either of the Treasurers in the two sections of the congregation.
