The Bible, without Hymns and Paraphrases.
We have frequently heard people expressing a longing for the English Bible, with the psalms in metre, but without the uninspired hymns and paraphrases at the end of it. The Trinitarian Bible Society, 7, Bury Place London, W.C.1, with its assiduous energetic Secretary, are therefore to be congratulated for having produced and published just such a Bible, at the modest price of 7/- per copy. Individuals and congregations should, therefore, at once avail themselves of this excellent opportunity to order copies, and parcels of copies, for their respective congregations, as pew Bibles. I feel sure there are many throughout our church, both at home and overseas, who would like to have several copies in their own homes for family worship, while others will, doubtless, welcome this opportunity to present their respective congregations with a good substantial supply of this excellent Bible. It is probable that there will be a keen demand for it, and a large number has been published. To avoid disappointment, therefore, let individuals and congregations get their copies forthwith.
