It gives me a pleasure to write to you. The Lord brought us safely to our places. We had a good voyage, although the sea was rough for the last four days, nevertheless we were kept. We found all well. We were met by Rev. A. Macdonald. We were at Ingwenya for the week-end. We passed to our places on Monday. The Zenka people were all well. My wife and family were all well, the congregation too. I hope the Lord will help me in remembering my visit to Scotland and Sermon I listened to, and many of the Lord’s people and their prayers, and to be the means of keeping my soul closer to the Lord.

Rev. R. R. Sinclair,
We had a good voyage and we got home alright. My wife and children were all well. We have started our visiting the schools with Rev. Campbell last Sabbath. We were in one of our schools started this year away up in the north. As we were going to church we met a man who was going somewhere. We stopped and had a talk with him, warning him and again trying to show him that this was the day of the Lord, a day of rest and worship, not a day for visiting friends. The poor man gave a simple answer and said “yes, I know, but it is God who permitted me to go. God knows all my troubles.” But we showed him that the great trouble lies beyond the grave for breaking God’s law. You can see what sort of people we meet.
We pray that the Lord may send his Holy Spirit to come and open the eyes of the poor sinners that they may hear the true gospel.
I hope you might have heard that Rev. Campbell and Mr J. Tallach, if God Will, are getting married on the 30th August.
