Deputy to North America
The Rev. Alexander Murray, M.A., Applecross, has agreed to be this year’s Church Deputy to Canada and the U.S.A. Mr Murray expects to leave Scotland for Canada at the beginning of June (D.V.). He hopes to visit all the congregations in the Dominion and is willing to visit other Church friends, who may desire his services. As there are many in Canada and the U.S.A. who have a genuine interest in the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland, we feel contact with the Deputy would prove a stimulating help.
Mr Murray will be most of his time in Winnipeg, and to facilitate possible arrangements for his services elsewhere, his Winnipeg address will in due course appear in the Free Presbyterian Magazine. The Lord’s people are asked to remember the Deputy at the throne of grace. His safety and the success of his mission are matters which should have a place in our prayers, and we wish him the Lord’s rich blessing during his journeys. “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” (Psalm 32, v. 8). — D. Campbell, Convener, Dominions and Overseas Committee.
