This Collection is to be taken by book in August, and we again approach our loyal people for their contributions. In the past they have done remarkably well, and we have every confidence in them that they will not be behind on this occasion. For a small denomination such as ours is, it is not an easy matter to keep a Mission of such an extent going, but “Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.” It is an honour to help to bring a full-orbed Gospel to a people who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and the Lord has put that honour upon us as a Church. We, therefore, expect that our people will contribute as liberally as the Lord will lay to their hands.
John Colquhoun, Convener.
