This attractively produced paperback consists of a series of brief meditations on the Book of Psalms. The meditations are richly Biblical in content and warmly evangelical in tone and indicate the ripeness of the Author’s spiritual thought and ex-perience. Interspersed throughout the book are many “Notes” of the godly of the past and also many incidents from the Author’s own experience. While not intended to be a commentary, but merely the expansion of one of the principal thoughts in each Psalm, yet where the interpretation of a passage is touched upon the treatment is sober. The brief comments made on the Psalms are suggestive and helpful. The book would be very suitable, as the Publishers suggest, for daily reading.
