The Five Points of Calvinism are expounded, and amply substantiated from the word of God. Nowadays, when the epithet “Calvinistic” is frequently used pejoratively and Arminianism pollutes much preaching and writing, a booklet of this kind is extremely useful, both as an antidote to the Arminian poison and as a corrective for those who appear to think that the free offer of the Gospel and an emphasis on man’s responsibility constitute Arminianism. The booklet can be easily read and assimilated; it can, therefore, be recommended for all classes of readers. Young people, especially those who, because of their vocation, are likely to come into contact with Arminianism, should arm themselves with this booklet.
