Miss Sheila MacLeod, C.A., has fulfilled the time she promised to assist the Committee as the Treasurer of the Mission and Clerk to the Field Committee. She has kindly agreed to carry on in the hope that the Committee will be able to find some person to take her place. Although Miss MacLeod possesses highly skilled qualifications for this particular work, the Committee would emphasise that they are not looking for another C.A. to take her place. The post advertised in this notice requires a reasonable knowledge of book-keeping and some experience in business administration and the Committee will be very pleased to hear from anyone who has a mind to labour in this way in our Mission in Rhodesia.
Another possible solution would be if a male teacher would consider going to the Mission as head teacher in Ingwenya Secondary School, not to teach, but to do the administrative side of the School work. Such a person could combine this with the post advertised above. The Committee would be very pleased to hear from any teacher to whom such work would appeal.
Miss J. Cox from New Zealand is due to arrive in Rhodesia as a nursing sister in August to relieve Miss Turner who is due home. There are still at least two vacancies for nurses and the Committee hope the Lord will move some to come forward.
The Committee would ask all our young people who have the interests of Christ’s Cause at heart to give careful and serious prayerful consideration to the address given by Rev. P. Mzamo in St Jude’s Congregation and recorded in this issue of the Free Presbyterian Magazine.
