Meeting of Synod
The Synod will meet on Tuesday, 23rd May, 1972, in St. Jude’s Church, Glasgow, at 6.30 p.m. (D.V.) when the retiring Moderator, Rev. Alex. Morrison, will preach.
We would ask for the prayers of the people throughout the Church in connection with the forthcoming meeting of Synod, that the ministers and elders may be guided aright in the decisions which they may be called upon to make, and that all may redound to God’s glory and to the furtherance of His Cause amongst us at home and abroad.
Publications Treasurer—Change of Address
As from 1st May the address of the Publications Treasurer will be R.W.M. MacKenzie, C.A., Hilton of Cadboll, Fearn, Ross-shire.
Change of Communion Date
It was decided by the Kirk Session of the Portree congregation to change the date of the communion from the 2nd Sabbath of August to the 3rd Sabbath of September (D.V.). This change has been made in the spiritual interests of the congregation.
