Fourth Centenary of Death of John Knox
At this time, the fourth centenary of the death of John Knox, there are many expressions of attachment to the great Scottish Reformer. The truth of the matter, however, is, that it was because of departures from the principles for which John Knox stood that the Free Presbyterian Church raised a witness in 1893. May the Lord in His Mercy grant us grace to show our appreciation of John Knox by holding fast, not only in the letter, but above all, in the spirit, to the testimony raised in 1893.
