Annual Synod
The Synod of the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland is due to meet in Inverness Church on Tuesday, 20th May 1975, at 6.30 p.m. (D.V.) when the retiring Moderator of Synod, Rev. Donald Campbell, M.A., Edinburgh, is expected to preach.
It is gratifying to know that Rev. Wm. MacLean, Grafton, Rev. D. M. MacLeod, Auckland, Mr Donald Beaton, Elder, Auckland, and Rev. Petros Mzamo, Mbuma, are all expected to be present at the Synod this year. Their presence at the Synod will indeed be welcomed by the brethren at home.
We would ask the praying people of the Church to remember the brethren at a Throne of grace as they meet in Synod to deliberate on matters affecting the interests of Christ’s Cause and kingdom amongst us; that the deliberations may be conducted in a spirit of brotherly harmony and love; and that the minds of the brethren may be directed by the Spirit of God to do that which will most tend to God’s glory and the advancement of His Cause in the world.

Home Mission Fund
By appointment of the Synod, this collection is to be taken in May (D.V.).
The fund was supported very well last year and the Committee express its gratitude.
The purposes of the Fund are well-known, embracing the cost of Church Extension and the salaries of our Lay Missionaries. The Committee anticipate that our people will support these worthy causes as they have done in the past.
