Concerted Prayer
Let us remember at a Throne of grace the nations so recently brought under Communist control, that the cruelties usually practised by the Communists may be prevented and especially that the Christians in those lands may be upheld. Let us remember the countless millions on the face of the earth under Romanist, Communist or heathen domination who are denied to a large extent, if not wholly, the privileges we enjoy. Let us plead for the ingathering of the Jews and the reviving of the Gentile nations, particularly those like our own, which for a long period of time have had the Word of God and are now on the very point of turning away from it. Let us plead for every effort that is made according to the mind of the Spirit of God for the extension of Christ’s Cause and kingdom throughout the whole world.

Aberdeen New Church Opening
The new Church acquired recently by the Aberdeen congregation was due to be opened on Friday, 30th May. Rev. L. MacLeod, Greenock, was expected to preach. The Church is situated at the corner
of Skene Street and Esslemont Avenue. It is of more convenient size for the congregation than the former larger building on John Street. We trust that it will be of use to the congregation for many years to come and that the Gospel preached in it may be blessed to the souls of many. May the promise given of old be fulfilled in it: “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former.” Haggai 2:9.
