The Synod agreed that in the light of the accelerating pace of the religious and moral deterioration in Church and State throughout our beloved land, a day of humiliation and prayer be held throughout our Church on Wednesday, 15th October, 1975 (D.V.), and that we en-
deavour to pray earnestly for an outpouring of the Divine Spirit.
