Church Notes

New Year 1976

By the time this issue of the Magazine is in your hands it is likely that another year will have opened. What the New Year holds for us we do not know, but if our trust is in the Lord then whether prosperity or adversity awaits us we need not fear. The year that has closed, the year when Britain’s entry into the Common Market was confirmed by a national referendum, has proved a year of adversity for our nation. May the year that has opened prove a turning point in our history. May the hearts of the people of the land be turned back to the worship and service of the living and true God. We pray that all our readers may be richly blessed with the blessings of God’s grace in Christ Jesus during this New Year.
