Sabbath Work at Kishorn
It is gratifying to know that the Highland Regional Council rejected the application by Howard Doris which would have allowed more Sabbath work at Kishorn in Wester Ross. The Council, which decisively rejected the application by 33 votes to 7, is to be congratulated on this decision, particularly in a day when it is so often thought proper to set aside moral considerations on the ground of supposed commercial advantages. Neither Kishorn or the Council will suffer by this decision, but rather the reverse. “Them that honour Me,” the Lord says, “I will honour, and they that despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.” 1 Samuel 2:30.
