In its report to the Synod, the Finance Committee expressed the view that since the College and Library Fund showed such a good balance, it would show the Church’s appreciation of our people’s contributions, if that particular collection would not be taken up in December of this year. At a later stage in the Synod, it was felt that the Publications Fund needed support and it was agreed “That the people of the Church be invited in the Free Presbyterian Magazine to make contributions to the Publications Fund and further that this year a collection be taken for this fund in December instead of the College and Library Fund.” Any such contributions should be sent to the Publications’ Treasurer, Mr R. MacKenzie, C.A. (Rev.) Donald MacLean, Clerk of Synod.
