In the good providence of the Lord the Rhodesian Deputies, Rev. R. R. Sinclair and Rev. Alexander Murray, returned safely to this country at the end of February. We would acknowledge with thankfulness the Lord’s preserving care over them during their visit to that troubled part of Africa. During their six weeks’ visit to the Mission they were kept busy with preaching and other duties. They found the Mission Staff in good heart and not unduly affected by the dangers with which they are surrounded at the present time.
We understand that Rev. Donald Ross and family are due to return to this country in April for a much needed furlough.
We pray that the Lord will continue to put His protecting care over all on the Mission and that the work of the Gospel will prosper there even in troublous times.
The Deputies are due the thanks of the Church in undertaking and fulfilling the task for which they were sent to Rhodesia. We regret that since his return to this country Rev. Alex. Murray has had to go to hospital but trust that he will soon, in the Lord’s good providence, be fully restored to health.
