The publishing of books such as The Westminster Confession of Faith, Peep of Day, Lady Colquhoun and others has been carried out by the Publications Committee for many years. Now and then the committee hears from those who have been helped through reading these books. We continue to hear from some who first heard of the committee’s work through the diligent and prayerful outreach of the late Mr John Grant, Inverness. We know of one congregation which until recently, was unreformed. Since reading The Westminster Confession of Faith both Pastor and people have been persuaded of the need to follow a more scriptural pattern in their worship. May God be pleased to continue to use this valuable book for His own Glory.
Also under the supervision of the Publications Committee is the Bookroom in Glasgow. Our staff there find constant encouragement in their contact with those who come in looking for a reliable book to read. One Glasgow taxi driver comes in for a regular supply of scripture tracts to hand out to his passengers.
