Appeal for Chesley Manse
The Deacons’ Court of the Ebenezer Free Presbyterian Church, Chesley, Ontario, Canada, wishes to draw to the attention of people throughout the Church that an opportunity to purchase a manse has arisen which the Deacons’ Court feels is very providential. The house in question is next door to the church building and is the original manse for this church. The house has been modernized and is in exceptionally good condition. The price is Sixty Thousand dollars ($60000) £21,500 which is fair. The income of the congregation is such that it could either support a minister or buy the manse but not both at the same time. Since the congregation is small and its people are giving very willingly now, any additional help from anyone outside the congregation who is able to help build up the Cause in Canada would be very much appreciated. Perth Communion
The Kirk Session of Dundee, Perth and Stirling Congregation have decided to hold a Communion in Perth on the second Sabbath of March, D.V. The usual services will be held from Thursday 5th March to Monday 9th March. A fuller notice will appear later.

Scottish Reformation Society Tours
The Scottish Reformation Society has over the past few years been organising various tours which have taken in places of historical interest in Scotland. These have now developed into extended tours and have become Touring holidays.
In 1981 (d.v.) we plan two such tours on the following lines.

A FIVE DAY Covenanting Tour Holiday covering the main areas of Scottish Reformation and Covenanting interests. This tour will commence on MONDAY 4th May and finish on FRIDAY 8th May. Prices have still to be finalised but the 1980 tour cost £43 for travel, bed and breakfast, morning coffee and evening supper. Only 14 places are available on this tour with the mini bus.

An ELEVEN DAY Continental Reformation Tour taking in places such as Noyon; Paris; Geneva; Basel; Heidelberg; Worms and various places in Holland. This tour commences on MONDAY 27th July and concludes on FRIDAY 7th August. Though 1981 tariffs are not to hand the 1980 tour cost £205 for a shared room and £221 for a single room (there are limited numbers of single rooms available). This included all travel, ferries, bed/breakfast and dinner. We hope there will only be small increases in costs this year.
