Day of Prayer
The Synod appointed Wednesday 11th December or Thursday 12th December (D.V.) to be observed as a Day of Humiliation and Prayer to confess our national and personal guilt and pray for the outpouring of the Divine Spirit as the only solution for the crises and problems of the age.
List of Communions
The list of Communions has been corrected for 1992. Would ministers kindly intimate to the Editor any further corrections necessary.
Death of Elder in Canada
We intimate with sadness the passing away of Mr Henry Scambler at the time of the Chesley Communion. He had come from Oakville where he lived to attend the Communion but took ill and passed away on 8th November. His removal is a great loss to the Cause in Canada. Before removing to Canada in 1972, Mr Scambler was an elder in the Edinburgh Congregation, where he was highly respected. A fuller notice will no doubt appear in due course.
