Further to the notice printed in the last issue, the “Form of Will”, originally inserted in the October, 1989, issue of The Free Presbyterian Magazine is reproduced below:
“I direct my Executors to convey and make over my entire estate/the whole residue of my estate to the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland, under declaration that this bequest is made strictly and exclusively in favour only of that organisation known, but expressly excluding the religious body formed by certain former Ministers, Elders, Members and Adherents of The Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland following a Deed of Separation dated 27th May 1989 and known as the Associated Presbyterian Churches or any of the successors of such body; and further, that this bequest shall not be affected by any interlocutor, decree or other judgment of any court, or any Act of Parliament, any of which relate to or affect in any way the rights, property or constitution of, or any other matter whatsoever concerning, the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland as constituted prior to said Deed of Separation; declaring that the receipt of the Treasurer or other authorised official of the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland shall be sufficient discharge to my Executors.”
Australia and New Zealand Presbytery Motion re Papal Visit
The Australia and New Zealand Presbytery deplores the recent visit to Australia of “that man of sin” and “son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God”. His arrogant claim that Mary MacKillop is, by the authority and investiture of the popish church, declared to be the first saint in Australia, is an insult to all of the Lord’s people who are saints in Christ. The prayer of this Presbytery is that the Lord, in mercy to His church, would hasten the day when “that Wicked . . . revealed . . . the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming . . .”
Binding of Magazines
We have been informed that Mr Neil MacLean is no longer in a position to bind issues of the Church’s Magazines and that consequently magazines should not be sent to the Bookroom for binding.
