NORTHERN: At Dingwall on Tuesday, 18th November, at 2.00 pm.

WESTERN: At Laide on Tuesday, 4th November, at 6.00 pm.

SKYE: At Portree on Tuesday, 7th October, at 11.00 am.

OUTER ISLES: At Stornoway on Tuesday, 2nd September, at 1.00 pm.

AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND: At Auckland on Friday, 23rd January, 1998, at 9.00 am.

ZIMBABWE: At Bulawayo on Tuesday, 14th October, at 11 am.

NURSES FOR MBUMA MISSION HOSPITAL

There is an urgent need for nurses at the above hospital. Four vacancies exist for qualified nurses. A qualification in midwifery is desirable but not essential. Applicants should apply in the first instance to the Rev. J. R. Tallach, Clerk of Foreign Missions Committee, F. P. Manse, Raasay, Kyle, IV40 8PB.

CHURCH DEPUTIES TO VISIT AFRICA

It is expected that the Rev John MacLeod, Convener of the Foreign Missions Committee, and the Rev Dr James R. Tallach, will visit our mission in Sengera, Kenya for a period of about three weeks, departing, God willing, on Tuesday, 9th September. It would be much appreciated if the Lord’s blessing on the visit, including help in all duties and protection in travelling, would be prayed for. “Brethren, pray for us.”

DOMINIONS AND OVERSEAS FUND

By appointment of Synod, the Special Collection, on behalf of the Dominions and Overseas Fund, is due to be made in congregations during the month of September, D.V. R. A. Campbell, General Treasurer
