DAY OF HUMILIATION AND PRAYER

THE Synod has appointed that “Wednesday, 10th December, 1997, be kept as a day of humiliation and prayer throughout the Church, to acknowledge our enormous transgressions and backslidings both nationally and ecclesiastically, and to implore the Lord for His own glory to shine upon us favourably, by the outpouring of His Holy Spirit in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

CHESLEY, CANADA, COMMUNION SEASON

THE sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be administered in the Chesley Congregation on Sabbath, 9th November, D.V. It is expected that the Rev. K. THEMBISO / E.S.M. SUPERINTENDENT’S POST

THE post of Superintendent for Thembiso Children’s Home and Ebenezer Scripture Mission has been left vacant.

Applications for the post are therefore invited from interested, mature persons, possibly with some teaching and administration experience. Overseas workers can come as Church Workers. (An overseas applicant can enter the country as a “Church Worker”.)

Please include copies of certificates and a curriculum vitae with your application. A clean, current driver’s licence will be an added advantage.
